New attractions include the hands-on Daytona Beach Aqua Safari eco-tour and the Ormond Beach
Kayak Center, which offers both river and sea kayaking opportunities, kayak fishing tours
and lessons. In addition, the Charles and Linda Williams Children's Museum at the Smithsonian-affiliated
Museum of Arts & Sciences opens in November. The 9,000-square-foot addition to the MOAS
will house cutting-edge, interactive science exhibits for children ages 4 to 14.
And if that’s not enough, you can also spend the day on one of the area’s many
championship golf or tennis courses or strapped in a stock car speeding around the world-famous
Daytona International Speedway at speeds exceeding 160 mph with the Richard Petty Driving
